Mon women admits peddling fake handbags

 ST. LOUIS (AP) - A woman in St. Louis pleaded guilty to selling hundreds of thousands of dollars of

counterfeit luxury handbags.

The prosecutor said the U.S. 34-year-old Jeannine Buford led an Internet home business selling fake Hermes

(FSD mehz) bags are imported from China. The FBI says Buford defrauded nearly 100 customers worldwide,

including one who at the agency after he complained almost $ 16,000 for a Hermes Birkin bag wrong.

Buford pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to one count of trafficking in counterfeit goods. She

agreed to waive a Chevrolet Camaro, a Porsche Cayenne and other goods. A judge set sentencing for 20th

September.

The prosecutor said Buford ran the business from January 2006 to October last year. They believe that net

more than $ 500,000 from March 2010 to April 2011 alone.
