Parade Mad Hatter started Book Cafe


  A new showcase for some of the most talented designers of Zimbabwe mode called The Mad Hatter Fashion Show, the work was presented by talented designers started Alice Knuth and Colin Ratisayi at Book Café on Saturday.

The event is the brainchild of Danish Architect Zimbabwean Alice Knuth was an electrifying mix of fashion, music, comedy and dance.

"This new initiative is a starting point that we hold the event after every three months with different designers, showcase our talents in design. Each event will consist of two or three designers, with an emphasis on design feature," Knuth said.

This talented designer, best designers at Fashion Week Zimbabwe won in 2011 and was fortunate to travel to Johannesburg to be part of Fashion Week in Africa.

Knuth Ratisayi and both attended the Fashion Week in Zimbabwe and helped fashion the Castle Tankard, OK Grand Challenge, the Embassy of Spain, the International Women's Day and the Harare International Arts Festival.

Knuth started his label Countess K in 2009, which saw the merger java African fabrics with a modern twist, fun, create a timeless look.

She dressed models in various competitions in the country and the mbira queen Chiwoniso Maraire on most of his international tours.
