Oh Land Does Copenhagen for Louis Vuitton

Friend of NewNowNext (2011 NNN Award winner) and all around sexy Scandinavian Oh Land has just posted her picks for Copenhagen on the new-ish Louis Vuitton site (and iPhone app) called amble. Sadly, her picks are a tad incomplete. As a native of Copenhagen I’d have thought she’d be able to come up with more than the six?! So we’re going to help her out and add a few more…just because the dinner and hotel picks are missing. Cute thing, she’s been living in Brooklyn lately, maybe that explains the oversight. 

Still love her. And hope she got a fancy bag or pair of shoes for this piece.

Noma

At this point, it’s accepted as fact that eight-year-old Noma is the best restaurant in the world, probably the galaxy. It’s nabbed the top spot for two years running in Restaurant magazine’s ranking of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and is the recipient of two Michelin stars (non-French restaurants rarely get three stars). I’m betting our gal Oh Land has been there — and probably has a pet name for chef René Redzepi — but unless you’ve got ‘Oh’ or someone from the Danish royal family coming with(too bad about that Crown Prince being happily married), it’s going to be a bitch to get a reservation until like 2015. Fortunately, several other fantastic options recently cropped up, and they’re also well worth the trip to Copenhagen. Four that just got the seal of approval from Departures magazine are considered among the best: Kødbyens Fiskebar, Manfred’s, Radio, and Relæ. A meal at any one of those will set you back a few kroner, but it’ll be something you’ll remember for years.
